Artistic Research
My artistic practice intertwines instruments, DIY kinetic objects, text, various technological tools, found sounds, experimental notation, synthesizers, theory, live electronics, within events, performances, installations and scores. There are several series of these works that are connected through a conceptual lens or an instrument design. The series of works below falls under the category of artistic research through their common question of investigation.
Filtering | Resonating
This is a series of works (composition for performer-composer, studio track & installations) that explores the conceptual and sonic possibilities of using objects as physical filters.

Fragile Environments
Fragile Environments: harnessing creative interventions in sound composition and music technologies to encourage imaginative listening and increased agency in facing the climate emergency.
Fragile Environments is an artistic research project supported by the Peder Sather Foundation, in collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Sussex.
With: Evelyn Ficarra, Professor of Interdisciplinary Composition, School of Media, Arts & Humanities, University of Sussex, Heather Frasch, Professor of Music Technology. Department of Music. Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and Myra Melford, Professor of Composition & Improvisational Practice, Department of Music, University of California, Berkeley
Sonic Entanglements
This is a series of works (for performer-composer and notated compositions) using self-made DIY kinetic objects that are manipulated live, enhanced with real-time electronics and samples, then blended with synthesizers to create textural polyphonic composition.
